Andy Ray

Born in Japan and raised in Longwood, Florida. I'm half Japanese, and Central Florida has been home for more than 20 years. I've spent close to eight years in the insurance industry, all of it in the Florida market — hurricane season, carriers pulling back, premiums climbing. I've watched how this market moves and what it does to people's policies.

Home and auto are my focus and where most of my clients start, but my scope goes well past that. I write commercial for business owners, and I regularly handle umbrella, flood, pet, and jewelry coverage — the policies people don't think about until they need them. Knowing where the gaps usually sit is most of the job.

I do what I call target networking: real one-on-one relationships instead of working a room, and that carries over into how I handle clients. If you call, I pick up. If I say I'll call you back, I call you back. You get straight answers, not a script. I'm excited to continue my career with D&E and eager to help Florida residents with all their insurance needs.
